Steven A. Roth, MD

Nearly 25 years have elapsed since I completed my residency in OBGYN.  Much has changed, but much has remained the same. One of the things I have found in my career is that there is a plethora of misinformation and misunderstanding regarding health, medicine and wellness interposed within great advances that can help us live longer healthier lives. We live in the greatest information age of all time and yet how can the average person interpret this? Our gift is the ability to decipher this information and make it practical and manageable.  Whether it be spiritual, mental or physical wellness we believe that through Roth Wellness Karen and I are in a unique position to bring compassionate commonsense to this somewhat chaotic and yet incredible world of Wellness.

My professional training was first at the University of South Florida School of Medicine, followed by Residency in OBGYN at Carraway Methodist Medical Center and The University of Alabama-Birmingham.  Following Residency, I established Genesis Women’s Center (GWC) in Inverness Florida. GWC remains the preeminent facility for Obstetrics and Gynecology in the
area.  In 2007, I left GWC and began work as a Locum (contract) physician in New Zealand and Australia.  Through these may years I’ve learned that there is no “cookbook” for the individual and that each person has unique issues that need to be heard.
