Live Well

Women S Health Program

Steven Roth, MD                            Karen Roth, Ph.D.

We believe spirituality is a universal concept that transcends religion, ethnicity and culture. Spiritual emotions like joy, compassion, love, faith/trust, forgiveness, hope, awe and gratitude can bring unity and peace across belief systems, as well as inner peace. Researchers have found that these positive emotions lower metabolism, blood pressure, heart rate, and cortisol levels. At Roth Wellness International, spirituality is at the core of our women s health program (s) and our overall wellness philosophy.

The nature of the body can only be understood as a whole, for it is the great error of our day in the treatment of the human body, that physicians separate the soul from the body.

Restorative, yet invigorating exercise, such as yoga, can help you re-connect your mind and body and reduce symptoms of stress by stimulating  your parasympathetic nervous system. Yoga, as a 3-part strategy of controlled breathing, mindful movement, and meditation, activates your relaxation response. Regular practice can effectively help you become a proactive participant in your wellbeing.

Happiness is not simply a matter of chance. Research has shown that your state of happiness is a combination of genetics (50%), circumstances (10%), and 40% attributable to your intentional activity*. This means to a large extent, you are responsible for your happiness. We love helping you re-discover what makes you happy, especially after set-backs and trials, so you can enjoy living again.
